What Is the Best Way to Practise Squash Alone?

Solo hitting against the front wall is the most effective way to practise squash on your own.

Start with straight drives from both sides, focusing on hitting the ball tight to the side wall at a consistent length. Once you can maintain a rally with yourself, add crosscourts, figure-of-eight patterns, and drop shots. Ghosting, where you move to each corner without a ball, is also excellent for improving your footwork and court movement. Even 20 minutes of focused solo practice twice a week will show clear improvement.
