How Often Should You Train to Improve at Squash?
Two to three sessions per week is enough for most club players to see steady improvement.
Consistency matters more than volume. Two focused sessions per week, mixing match play with purposeful practice, will produce better results than cramming in five sessions and burning out. If you can add a solo practice session between matches, even 20 minutes, your progress will accelerate noticeably. Rest and recovery are part of training. Playing when fatigued builds bad habits and increases injury risk.
